Dion Gowda, 15 from Bangalore, India, has confirmed his participation in the inaugural F4 Indian Championship certified by the FIA.

Dion is currently competing in his debut car racing season, placing third in the F4 British Championship with three wins and five podium finishes. His entry into the 2023 Indian series will mark his race debut on home soil, travelling to venues such as the Buddh International Circuit and the new street-based Chennai Formula Racing Circuit.

Speaking about the announcement, Dion said:‍

I’m hugely excited to join the grid for the inaugural FIA F4 Indian Championship.

Ever since the series was announced I have been following the news closely, and I can’t imagine a better way of ending our 2023 season than racing in front of a home crowd at the Buddh and Chennai circuits.

It’s been a great year so far representing India in the F4 British series, scoring three wins and placing third with two events to go. I’m aiming to replicate this success on home soil and can’t wait to get started.‍
